Epiphany!
When I get an idea it feels like I am the only person in the world who has ever had an idea. I get really excited and I start bugging my daughter with details. I don't always know how I will do something; mostly it comes to me while I am engaged in it so I try not to think on things too long because I am one of those people who will end up scratching it so I just jump right in with no reserve. I have learned from past experience that thinking long causes me not to do anything at all.
When it came to creating a blog, something I wanted to do for a while, I attempted it many times because like I said I jump right in. A few times I over thunk it and ended up with lots of neglected blogs. This time I really want to do it right. And by right I just mean actually enjoy writing about everyday wonderful things that inspire me. Delicious things! Something delicious doesn't necessarily have to be something to eat, although you will find here on this blog, that I love to eat and cook and share what I eat and cook, with others. I have never been one of those people who took pics of their meal, and posted it on Facebook, and thought it looked good when it didn't. I hate those. No offense to those of you who enjoy doing that, it's just that some people don't realize that a mish mash of their current meal, doesn't always look good plated under bad lighting. Ick!
I have however, lately become more inclined to take a pic of things that I do like to eat. Now, granted I am no photographer nor do I own a "good" camera. My camera phone pretty much works for me. I just photograph the things that I have recently prepared, from a recipe I am trying for the first time, or an oldie but goody that I haven't made in a while. I am not a world renowned artist, nor self proclaimed chef. I just like to create. That said, I hope you will enjoy some of my roughly concocted projects and try them yourself.
