Delicious DIY

I saw a couple of magnolia paintings similar to this one in a catalog for $60-100. I thought maybe I could one myself. It's not perfect nor is it exactly like the others but I used them as my inspiration Imperfections are what I love about it and it's mine. I spent 4 dollars on the canvas and 2 dollars on the paints. I already had some paint and plenty of brushes. What ya'll think?

Before and After. I found some fabric at Walmart about three years ago when they were trying to get rid of it cause they were not going to be selling fabric anymore. Cost me 50 cents a yard. The front is a gauzy poly-blend used for indoor/outdoor patio furniture and the back is cotton duck. Both very washable. I just wanted to add some color to my boring 1996 cream living room furniture. So I decided on coral and blue. I never did use it in the living room instead it ended up on my bed. Lip Smacking Coral and Oceanberry Blue on Crisp White. Delcious!

So my mom wanted black and white pics of sunflowers. This is one that I took with my OG Samsung Galaxy (that means original, the very first one). She loves it so much that I am gonna take it to Staples and have it blown up to industrial print size... Only cost seven bucks to add that professional flare! Once we get it framed I will post it so ya'll can see it.
